Service Description: Impervious surface throughout the Chesapeake Bay watershed states (Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New York, West Virginia) and Washington D.C. Based on the most recent (2011) National Land Cover Database, which is the definitive Landsat-based, 30-meter resolution land cover database for the United States. NLCD products are created by the Multi-Resolution Land Characteristics (MRLC) Consortium, a partnership of Federal agencies led by the U.S. Geological Survey. Percent imperviousness per 30mx30m grid cell is displayed.
