Service Description: Impervious surface throughout the Chesapeake Bay watershed. The watershed spans 6 states (Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, New York, Pennsylvania, and Delaware) and Washington D.C. Based on the most recent (2011) National Land Cover Database, which is the definitive Landsat-based, 30-meter resolution land cover database for the United States. NLCD products are created by the Multi-Resolution Land Characteristics (MRLC) Consortium, a partnership of Federal agencies led by the U.S. Geological Survey. Percent imperviousness per 30mx30m grid cell is displayed.
