Voter Turn-out was given a greater weight (.5) compared to Growth-rate (.25) and Diversity Index (.25) in creating this raster.Growth-rate data was defined by the 2010-2020 annual compound rate of change in population using Census data and compiled by Esri at the census tract level. Voter Turn-out data is defined by the % of the voting population that cast a ballot in the 2016 presidential election by state county geography. Diversity Index, demographic data created by Esri, ranks the likelihood that two persons belong to difference race or ethnic group using the census tract geographyThis raster will be used to compare the differences between different weight options to determine the best Priority Community Criteria combination to use for the final product.Published as part of the Grassroots Organizer spatial analysis project. |
