This raster includes data representing Growth-rate, Voter Turn-out, and Diversity within the watershed; the higher the value, the greater the suitability with these three datasets. Diversity Index was given a greater weight (.5) compared to Growth-rate (.25) and Voter Turn-out (.25) in creating this raster.Growth-rate data was defined by the 2010-2020 annual compound rate of change in population using Census data and compiled by Esri at the census tract level. Voter Turn-out data is defined by the % of the voting population that cast a ballot in the 2016 presidential election by state county geography. Diversity Index, demographic data created by Esri, ranks the likelihood that two persons belong to difference race or ethnic group using the census tract geographyThis raster will be used to create weighted overlay outputs using the baseline, community, and geography criteria.Published as part of the Grassroots Organizer spatial analysis project. |
